About the role
A venture-backed founder in Manhattan is hiring a senior Executive Assistant to serve as the operational anchor of the office. This is a highly strategic seat. You will own the founder's calendar, protect deep-work time, prepare them for every meeting, and act as the single point of coordination for investors, the board, and the leadership team. The role blends traditional EA rigor with light chief-of-staff instincts: you will be trusted with sensitive information, asked to draft communications on the founder's behalf, and expected to run point on the small logistics that determine whether a week goes well.
Responsibilities
- ·Own an intricate, frequently changing calendar across multiple time zones
- ·Build weekly briefing packets and prep the founder for every external meeting
- ·Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including private aviation
- ·Serve as the first filter for inbound requests from investors, press, and partners
- ·Manage expense reports, vendor onboarding, and light personal logistics
- ·Partner with the Chief of Staff on quarterly planning cadences and offsites
Requirements
- ·7+ years supporting a founder, CEO, or senior partner
- ·Demonstrated longevity: two or more tenures of 3+ years
- ·Fluent with Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and modern travel tooling
- ·Impeccable written communication and executive presence
- ·Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a high-growth environment
Preferred
- ·Prior experience in a venture-backed or high-growth technology company
- ·Exposure to board or investor communications
Benefits
- ·Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- ·Paid time off and federal holidays
- ·401(k) or retirement contribution (role-dependent)
- ·Annual performance bonus eligibility
- ·Confidential, partner-led candidate representation from Linear
